Somewhere deep in Old Raven's Forest, a little badger named Barty is off on an Adventure! And if you listen closely, he might just invite your child along.

These stories are short parables for children, the kind meant to be read aloud before bed, or around the table, or in the five quiet minutes before the Sunday school lesson begins.

They're simple stories. But they do something.

They give children a felt sense of the gospel - not just the facts of it, but the feel of it. What it's like to be called by name. What it means that Someone went ahead of you into the dark. How we can adventure with Jesus every day. They are fun and meaningful explorations of a Biblical passage or theme, staying true to the message of Scripture, speaking the language of children.

Every few weeks, a new story arrives here. New stories are free for your family and your classroom. No noise, no algorithm. Just a story, a scripture, and a small truth worth sitting with.
